If you've ever visited our showroom in Riga, chances are you've met Beate, Thomas, or one of the lovely women from our BeaA team. Maybe you've tried on a few pieces, discovered a new favourite, or stayed a little longer than planned, enjoying a coffee and a good conversation.
But we know that many of you have discovered BeaA online and haven't had the chance to visit us yet.
So today, we'd love to introduce ourselves properly.
A Little Story Behind BeaA
BeaA was founded in Riga in March 2022 by Beate and Thomas Gleim, but Beate's love for fashion began long before that.
She started creating her own clothes at just 12 years old. Over the years, her experience in fashion, personal styling, and working alongside designers shaped a simple idea: beautiful clothing should never come at the expense of comfort.
Together with Thomas, she turned that idea into BeaA.
Our first collections focused on elegant homewear and loungewear. But something unexpected happened. Our customers loved the pieces so much that they started wearing them outside the home.
And just like that, BeaA began to grow into what it is today: a wardrobe of timeless, versatile pieces for everyday life and special occasions.

Behind BeaA are two people who brought their vision to life.
Beate Gleim — Co-Founder & Creative Director
Beate is the creative heart of BeaA. Her passion for beautiful fabrics, flattering silhouettes, and effortless styling shapes the collections we create.
For Beate, the most important thing isn't simply how a piece looks on a hanger. It's how a woman feels when she puts it on.
Thomas Gleim — Co-Founder & CEO
Together with Beate, Thomas founded BeaA in 2022 and leads the business side of the brand, helping turn its creative vision into reality.
Different roles, one shared idea: to create clothing that women genuinely love wearing.
Made in Riga, With Care
One thing we're especially proud of is that our clothing is made here in Latvia.
Behind every BeaA piece are skilled professionals, carefully selected fabrics, and attention to the little details that make all the difference.
We love beautiful materials, thoughtful cuts, and silhouettes that feel effortless rather than restrictive.
Our collections are created in considered quantities, with the idea that a favourite piece should stay in your wardrobe for more than just one season.
But there's something else that makes BeaA special to us.

Sometimes it's a pair of trousers that fits just right. Sometimes it's a jacket you would never have chosen yourself. And sometimes it's a whole new combination that makes you see your wardrobe differently.

We believe shopping should be enjoyable, not rushed.
Our showroom is a place where you can take your time, touch the fabrics, try things on, ask questions, and enjoy a little moment for yourself.
